To our valued customers,
For over 85 years, our customers and communities have placed their trust in us to provide their grocery, drug store, and pharmacy needs. We have always been fully committed to the highest standards of quality, service and sanitation. Those commitments are especially important during these challenging times as we address the impacts of the COVID-19 virus. The health and safety of our customers and employees is the highest priority for all of us at Rosauers, Super 1 Foods and Huckleberry’s, and we continue to monitor and take direction from local, state and national health organizations to ensure your safety and well-being.
Here are some of the actions we have taken to serve and protect you and our employees:
Cleanliness and Sanitation
Cart wipes and sanitizer are available at entrances and other key areas.
Employees are asked to wash their hands frequently and utilize alcohol-based sanitizer to supplement hand cleanliness.
Salad, soup, olive and hot bars and seating areas have been temporarily closed
Service department equipment and utensils are being sanitized frequently, and deli department cutlery is being dispensed from behind the counter.
We have removed all “self-service” sample trays from counters.
Employee Health:
We are providing information and encouraging employees and their families to follow CDC and other health organization guidelines to help them stay healthy.
We are encouraging employees who are ill to stay at home, monitor symptoms and seek medical advice as needed.
We have curtailed any non-essential travel to prevent spread or exposure to the virus.
Generous vacation and sick leave benefits are available to help offset the impact of time away from work.
Providing for your needs:
We are working with our suppliers to ensure product availability, especially on basic essentials and health and sanitation items that may be on allocation.
Where available we encourage use of our curb-side or home delivery service and our pharmacy drive thru options as a social distancing practice.
As an essential service provider, we are working in cooperation with local health departments, and planning for the possibility of an outbreak, to ensure that your food and pharmacy needs will remain available.
These are unprecedented times, but our entire team wants you to know that we remain focused and committed to providing for your needs. We appreciate the trust that has been placed in us, and are committed to providing the safest and most sanitary environment possible.
