Needed supplies for a dessert board quick and stopped at my neighborhood Rosauers! I grabbed:
- brie
- a blue cheese (gorgonzola)
- a soft fresh cheese (ricotta)
- some sweet crackers
- some savory crackers
- some caramel rice crackers 👀
- fresh blackberries (in season til first frost in the PNW!)
- caramels
- apple crisps
- balsamic cheese glaze
- honey
- pumpkin puree (made myself! basic recipe below 👇)
- fig orange spread
Arrange to your taste! It helps to start with big items (bowls, etc) and add stacks of crackers as foundation elements, filling in the spaces with irregularly shaped items like the berries or apple crisps. Tag @Rosauerssupermarkets with what you end up making!
Pumpkin Puree: Halve pie pumpkins, brush flesh with oil, and lay facedown on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Poke holes in skin for steam to vent and bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste and blend in a blender until smooth.
