It’s a new year! That means a fresh start on eating healthy. We made our own naturally-sweetened granola! This is a very eyeball-able recipe – it’s a great way to test your baking intuition. 😉 Ingredients: 🥄 4 cups oats (gluten-free from our @huckleberry’snaturalmarket Bulk Section!) 🥄 1 1/2 cup sliced almonds (or whichever type of nuts you prefer) 🥄 1/2 cup coconut flakes 🥄 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds 🧂 hint of salt 🧂 sprinkle of cinnamon 🫗 1/2 cup melted coconut oil (or olive oil) 🫗 1/2 cup maple syrup (or honey) 🫗 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 🍓 dried strawberries Preheat oven to 350° and line a large pan with parchment paper. Mix all your dry ingredients together. Add in wet ingredients and stir until thoroughly coated. Pour onto pan and spread evenly. Bake for about 22 minutes, and stir halfway through. Let cool on counter for minimum 45 minutes, then top with dried strawberries. Store in sealed container. What are your favorite granola add-ins?
